Dawn Wave is a European electronic music band, gathering synthesizers performers and composers. We create digital, progressive, ambiant music, electronic music or more experimental, synthesizers-based. The band is inspired by German, UK electronic music, US contemporary music, it appreciates, and which it builds on, in a contemporary art perspective.
Our latest “American Lands” LP is a new exploration of progressive electronic music by the band. Inspired by travels and life experiences in the United States, with powerful synthetic sounds, the music apprehends different landscapes either natural, urban and cities, and is inspired by themes of the American society such as pertaining to art, culture money, politics, civil and spiritual life. Such physical and mind “landscapes” are proposed in the form of digital journey mirroring images with new powerful sounds, weaved in intricate soundscapes and polyrhythms. "American Lands" is a journey along the West Coast and the East Coast.

Our LP “Ambiant Trials” is a first experience, an exploration in digital music, fully synthesizers-based, progressive, ambiant music or more experimental, with sounds inspired by these musical influences.

Such electronic music, with a high dynamic and complex, spacial soundscapes, requires a good audio setting. It is not worth listening on a simple gsm, unless using stereo headphones or larger external speakers. Listen to such electronic music at minima a computer, an iPad-like or a good-quality stereo system. Most of our online diffusion is limited to a format (mp3 16 bits) imposed by distribution. We aim at moving soon to a higher audio quality standard.
